About Teacher Millie

Wife for 62 years, mother to two, Grandma to 6, Great-grandma to 4, certified parent educator, retired registered nurse, Bible teacher - ages 0 to adult. Teacher Millie has additional training to assist parents of infants and children with brain damage, dyslexia, and autism to bring their children to their maximum, God-given potential. Millie has worked as an in-home parent coach for a local county with parents of at-risk children. She is currently part of a team that teaches Bible Clubs in after-school "Kid's Clubs" in public schools.

At the University of the Nations in Hawaii, she was trained in curriculum development for early-childhood education.

Millie has also conducted seminars with Youth With A Mission [YWAM] in various parts of the world in family communication, positive parenting, education of infants and young children, Bible storytelling, and Biblical principles of overcoming difficulties in the classroom and home environments and, in Latvia, taught a seminar for public school teachers on "Connecting Every Subject to God's Word."

As a Registered Nurse, her work included I.C.U, Labor and Delivery, in-home care for brain-damaged children, and in the jail environment, nursing for the general population and in the Psychiatric unit. What a joy to see lives totally transformed through prayer and following the lead of the Holy Spirit.
